Can anyone help St Dunstan after break in
Sadly St Dunstan's School plot on Bluestone Allotments in north Manchester was one of many broken into last night.
The thieves got away with brand new fencing (see picture below) that the group recently purchased and will be costly to replace.
The fencing cost £168 and is a real set back for the group.
If you can help in any way please contact St Dunstan's School on Bacup Street, Moston, M40 9HF or give the group a call on 07779400584.
CLES Summit 2013: An Economy for all
26th June 2013
Kings House Conference Centre, Manchester
Some conferences exist in the policy here and now, the CLES Summit offers fresh, free and forward thinking.
Today we are in the midst of ongoing austerity and unprecedented economic, social and environmental change. Whilst some existing policy is useful, economic growth remains illusive and the welfare state and public services creak under the strain of growing demand. We desperately need new economic, social and environmental answers for the nation and for local places.
