About - Moston Active Drama (MAD)

Moston Active Drama (MAD)is a community drama company established in 1996. It aims to provide a platform for expression for the people of North Manchester. All material is written, devised and performed by the group, who are not afraid to tackle common and controversial issues that are relevant to them.

A first for North Manchester

On 26th November 04 MAD held an event, an online radio play which was broadcast live which was written and preformed by MAD at the Harpurhey Neighbourhood Project and broadcast across the internet as well as into local community buildings. The production crew facilitated the live broadcasts along with the filming of the work to create a film, 'The Making Of Go Computer'.
