In April 2007 the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority
(GMPTA) announced an increase in the concessionary bus fare from 50p to
70p.
The Transport Resource Unit (TRU) is investigating the impact of the
price increase on families and children and identifying the main issues
they have around transport.
We are asking for anyone who is responsible for any children between
the ages of 5 and 15 to complete a short survey which will contribute
to a report that will be presented to GMPTA. The survey should take
around 5-10 minutes to complete. Please circulate this information
widely. The closing date for responses is Friday 8th January 2008.
The survey can be accessed online by copying the following address into
your browser:www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=KTrCmi3tjT7ulmJL2RP...
For hard copies of the survey and more information please contact Andy
Wynne at: mail@andywynne.org or 0161 764 4868
Many thanks.
Warm regards,
Melanie Jeffs, Communications Administration Officer

Manchester'
