Subject - Introducing HELP – Health Equality Library Portal

Posted : (Tuesday 11th November 2008 ) By - jess (Registered User)

NHS North West has begun the development of an easily accessible, authoritative and effectively managed centralized repository of up-to-date equality and diversity information and know-how in order to:
Support the production of effective equality impact assessments and evidence-based equality schemes
Support E&D leads to do their jobs better
Identify knowledge gaps
Share quality best practice and policy material and prevent unnecessary duplication of effort

At this stage, they are looking for potential users to help inform the development by completing a short online survey that will take only 3 - 4 minutes. Please can as many of you as possible complete the survey by clicking http://tinyurl.com/nhsnwdata. By participating in the survey you will be ensuring that your current and future information needs are met.

Secondly they are looking for any experts in the field or within specific equality target groups to be part of a user steering group. If you are interested in becoming part of a user steering group or if you would just like to discuss HELP in further detail please get in touch.
