Over the past 18 months NHS Manchester has been making changes to ensure that people can access medical treatment when they need it. As well as introducing extended opening hours at GP practices, the NHS are changing the way they deliver walk-in services. Following the opening of City Health Centre, which offers a walk-in centre and GP practice in the heart of the city, neighbourhood walk-in services are changing. Ancoats, Withington and Whythenshawe walk-in centres will be open from 9am-6pm Mon to Sat, and there will no longer be a walk-in centre at Burnage Health Centre.
