Manchester Climate Forum

Monthly evening meetings designed to give certain 'hard to get' information and then offer space for discussion/debate, followed by coercive mingling, networking and brainstorming.

Sept 16, Oct 21, Nov 18, Dec 16 (Christmas bash- venue to be announced), Jan 20.

Aims of the Meetings:

  • * Act as a central meeting point for the diverse climate/green campaigners of (Greater) Manchester.
  • *Act as an info point for “curious bystanders” who (might) want to get involved
  • *Create opportunities for individuals to learn new skills in facilitation, publicity, public speaking

  • MEETING - Multi Agency Forum

    The MARIM Team has organised the next MAF to be held on: 9th December 2009, 9:00am to 2:00pm

    Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester

    There will be presentations on services for International New Arrivals, Travellers and Supplementary Schools and on Manchester Advice Services including the new Migrant Impact Fund.

    Workshops will cover Asylum and Immigration Law, UKBA's new Earned Citizenship Programme, Supporting Asylum Seekers with particular focus on Section 4, and ESOL based on survey conducted by LSEN.
