Subject - Whit Week Activities

I was looking through the leaflet regarding Whit week Activities, and noticed something which needed commenting on.
Many of the sporting activities around Manchester are free at various venues, it was when I got to the listing for sportcity that a fee was asked for. Now I wonder why this is, is East Manchester yet again different from everyone else.
Who can clear this one up for me
