How to add a Job
1. Click on Jobs.
2. Click on Add a Job.
3. Fill in the form as follows:
Job Title: Type in the title of your vacancy.
Closing Date: Click in the box to select a date from the calendar. Click on Today to select today's date. Click on the relevant date to select it or if the conference starts in the next or a subsequent month click on > and then click on the relevant date.
Organisation: Type in the name of the organisation advertising the vacancy.
Hours: Type in the hours per week.
Salary: Type in the salary.
Description: Type in a description of your vacancy. This is your chance to encourage as many people as possible to apply for the job.
4. When you are happy with the information you have entered click on submit. The next form will be displayed. This form allows you enter a variety of contact details so that people can get more information about your vacancy.
5. Fill in the form as follows (all the sections are optional), but it is essential to make sure that you have included some way of people getting more information about your vacancy.
Contact details: Use this section to give a contact name or organisation for your vacancy.
Phone number: a phone number where people can get more information about your vacancy.
Alt number: an alternative phone number where people can get more information about your vacancy.
Fax number: a fax number that people can use to ask for more information about your vacancy.
Minicom number: - a minicom number that people can use to ask for more information about your vacancy.
Email address: an email address that people can use to get more information about your vacancy.
Web Address: a relevant website address. You must put http:// before the www part of the website address (e.g. http://www.mymanchester.net).
6. When you are happy with all the contact details click on submit.
7. Your job vacancy will not be displayed immediately, but a notification will go to the site moderator so that it can be approved. Once your job vacancy has been approved it will be displayed on the site. If you have supplied an email address in your contact details you will receive an email confirming that the conference has been approved and posted.
