Our function is to ensure that police forces are efficient and effective and accountable to local people

The IPCC's job is to make sure that complaints against the police are dealt with effectively. We set standards for the way the police handle complaints and, when something has gone wrong, we help the police learn lessons and improve the way they work.

The Community Association is made up of many different people as well as the Board. We have paid staff who help run and manage the centre on a day to day basis as well as a team of hard working volunteers who help provide services in the Community Centre.
